ÁLVARO OSÓRIO DE ALMEDIA AWARD (AOA) by SBFis
Professor Álvaro Osório de Almeida was a pioneer in developing Physiology in Brazil in the first half of the 20th century. In his honor, the Brazilian Society of Physiology (SBFis) grants this award every year during its annual meetings to distinguish young physiologists.
All undergraduate and graduate students up to 30 years old registering to the IUPS 2017 Congress are eligible to apply to the AOA Award.
The value of the travel awards to be granted will depend on the funds available, and it will be announced by the LOC in the middle of July at the Congress website (www.iups2017.com).
RULES FOR APPLICATION TO THE AOA AWARD: to apply to the AOA award the undergraduate or graduate student must fill-up the following requirements during the process of abstract submission:
1) to submit a first-authored abstract;
2) to be under 30 years of age till the last day of the IUPS 2017 Congress (August 5, 2017);
3) students from all over the world are eligible to the AOA Award;
